Sonotrim Boundary Layer Tape Down accessory allows the STR to be used on a large flat surface as a boundary layer microphone with the pickup pattern hemi-spherical in shape.  An excellent usage of this accessory is taped to a car window or to the top surface of a table to pick up more than one speaker.
