This cable allows any balanced 48V Phantom powered microphone to be used with any 6-pin Lemo Audio Ltd Transmitter (TX2040, TX2020, TX2000).  An in-line power supply module provides the voltage conversion from the 9 Volt internal battery of the transmitter.  A transformer capable of handling up to 1 Volt is used to provide the balanced to unbalanced connection, capable of coping with the highest levels from normal microphones.

     For microphones with output levels of up to 20mV (KMR81, MKH416, CMC*, etc.) and the transmitter, microphone gain control set to position 7, the noise of the system is entirely due to the microphone, the limiter operates at 94dB acoustic level with clipping occurring at 120dB. With the transmitter microphone gain control set to position 0, the system will handle 120dB acoustic level without compression.
