All Tram microphones and sets listed below are Positive Bias (+) and are provided with a stock carrying case and the following standard accessories in the same color as the microphone- TB, TT, COH, CH, WS, TD.
Tram TR-50 microphones are supplied with a number of connectors for connecting directly into various wireless microphone transmitters. In addition to those listed here we can supply TR-50's with many other types of connectors for unusual applications or older wireless transmitters. On our website we have listed the more popular models. We offer TR-50 systems with and without the TR-79 power supply. TR-50's may be used with the appropriate TR-79 power supply to make a hardwired lavalier microphone. For powering, the TR-79 uses a small, easily user installable, battery, the V13GA, or equivalent. The TR-79 may also be used with 12 to 48 volt phantom power. When phantom power is on, the battery needs to be removed.
When phantom power is powered on, the battery needs to be removed.
Note: A negative bias wired version may be had and a negative bias TR-79 must be used with these. We do not recommend them, although the cost is slightly lower. They are out of phase with the + bias and are more prone to picking up hum and buzz because the shield of the cable is active. We can supply TR-50 microphones wired for negative bias as well as negative bias TR-79 power supplies. Please contact us for ordering negative bias Tram products.
